For hundreds of years the Biscochito has been New Mexico’s favorite cookie. The origin is primarily Spanish; but, it has been influenced by Native American and Mexican cultures. Traditionally, the biscochito is served throughout the year especially during fiestas, weddings and Christmas, The Biscochito (biz-co-cheeto) was adopted as the official cookie by the New Mexico 1989 legislature.

For over 30 years, we have been making the Biscochito by hand and continue a proud  tradition. We are the first to make the Biscochito available in ChocolateFlavors. Respectfully, we continue to say “it’s almost as good as grandma’s”.
